Chaudhary Devi Lal University is an aspiring educational institution striving ahead with a new zeal and dreams in 2025. The university is constantly aligning itself with National Education Policy-2020 to achieve sustainable development goal for Quality Education. The university is academically strengthened by introducing a new four-year undergraduate program in Bachelor of Performance Arts, along with a new postgraduate program in Sociology, a Diploma course in Yoga and a certificate course in Punjabi and new programs such as four-year undergraduate programs of B.Sc. (Life Sciences and Physical Sciences) etc. are to be introduced in coming academic session 2025-26.
New centre(s) for Indian Knowledge System, Training and Placement cell have been established to cater the needs of students required for the holistic development of students. Several Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) have been signed for academic collaboration with prestigious national and international bodies to provide novel opportunities to students and faculty members. Further, Department of Education of the university has signed an MOU with special schools for handicapped and visually impaired students. The physical infrastructure is enriched with addition of a new teaching block (Teaching Block No. 5), student activity centre, and a plant conservatory which is an attempt to showcase plant diversity of this agro climatic region.
In the era of digitalisation university is constantly pouring serious efforts for complete digitization of various systems existing in the university. All the stakeholders of the university specially students are focussed for achieving high standards in academics, sports, cultural events for transforming the university to be one of the prestigious universities of the country with global fame.
I wish all the stakeholders in the university including students, Teaching staff, Non-Teaching staff and others a prosperous and healthy new year 2025 filled with happiness.
