About University School For Graduate Studies
National Educational Policy-2020 has provided an impetus to the changing horizons of Higher Education. Chaudhary Devi Lal University Sirsa established the University School for Graduate Studies (USGS) in 2021 and started following six Four-year degree programmes based on Learning Outcomes Curriculum Framework (LOCF) alongwith Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) as per National Education Policy-2020 in order to benefit all the stakeholders i.e. students, faculty and society w.e.f. session 2021-22:

- B.Sc. Physics
- B.Com. Banking & Insurance
- B.A. Economics & Finance
- B.A. Digital Journalism
In addition, One-year degree programme namely Bachelor of Library & Information Science is also started.
USGS is committed to impart carrier/demand oriented quality education comprising academic knowledge and professional/technical skills to the learners as per National Education Policy-2020. USGS is consistently progressing towards implementing the policy with best teaching and learning practices.
Vision:
To establish University School for Graduate Studies (USGS) for tuning ourselves to the latest state-of-the-art in Higher Education, and to focus on strengthening graduate studies especially in the wake of National Education Policy-2020, with emphasis on designing, developing and execution of market/industry demand oriented four year degree programmes (FYDPs).

University School for Graduate Studies (USGS), Chaudhary Devi Lal University Sirsa was established in August 2021, under the dynamic leadership of Prof. Ajmer Singh Malik, Vice-Chancellor, CDLU Sirsa, for tuning ourselves to the latest state-of-the-art in Higher Educatio, and to focus on strengthening graduate studies especially in the wake of National Education Policy-2020, with emphasis on designing, developing and execution of market/ industry demand oriented Four-year graduate degree programmes (FYDPs). NEP-2020 has provided an impetus to the changing horizons of Higher Education. USGS is located at the Second Floor of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Bhawan of the university. It has started six Four-year graduate degree programmes based on Learning Outcomes Curriculum Framework (LOCF) along with Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) as per NEP-2020 in order to benefit all the stakeholders i.e. students, faculty and the society w.e.f. Session 2021-22. In addition, one-year degree programme namely Bachelor of Library & Information Science was also started. USGS is going to start six more Four-year graduate degree programmes from the Session 2022-23 to cater to the needs of all stakeholders, keeping in view the quality and professional excellence. USGS is committed to impart carrier/demand oriented quality education comprising of academic knowledge and professional/technical skills to the learners as per NEP-2020. USGS is consistently progressing towards implementing the policy with best teaching and learning practices.
